Information you provide

Our enquiry forms require only an email address so that we can respond. Your name, telephone number, project type, budget, preferred timing, referral information and message are optional.

We use enquiry information to respond, discuss your project, prepare quotations and manage correspondence. Please include only information relevant to your enquiry. Do not send payment-card details, identity documents or other sensitive personal information through these forms.

The newsletter choice is separate, optional and not selected by default. If you select it, we record your preference to receive studio news and collection updates. You can withdraw that preference or ask us to stop marketing messages by emailing concierge@casamateriastudio.com.

Form storage and correspondence

Our forms are provided through Squarespace. Submissions are emailed to concierge@casamateriastudio.com and stored in Squarespace Contacts. Newsletter signup records are also stored in Squarespace Contacts. Our email service and Squarespace process this information to deliver and store the correspondence and records.

Information collected when you visit

The website is hosted on Squarespace. Visiting it generates technical information that can include your IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, referring pages and the time of your visit. We use Squarespace’s built-in analytics to understand website traffic. Its activity log is enabled and records individual visits, including IP addresses and browsing activity on this website.

Services that deliver or protect the website also receive technical information when their features load. Squarespace and its content-delivery services host and deliver website assets. Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise helps protect our forms from spam, fraud and abuse. Adobe Fonts delivers typefaces.

Service providers

• Squarespace: provides website hosting, forms, Contacts and analytics. It also processes some technical information for its own security and service-operation purposes. See the Squarespace Privacy Policy.
• Google reCAPTCHA: processes technical signals for security, fraud and abuse prevention. Google describes its role for reCAPTCHA customer data as a processor under its Google Cloud terms. See Google’s reCAPTCHA data processing information.
• Adobe Fonts: receives the IP address needed to deliver fonts. Adobe states that its font service does not store that address or set cookies to deliver fonts. See Adobe Fonts privacy information.

These providers operate internationally, and their services may involve processing information outside your state or country, including in the United States. Their linked information explains their respective data practices.

Cookies and your choices

Cookies are small pieces of data stored on your device. Necessary cookies support website functions, security and remembered privacy choices. Optional analytics cookies help measure use of the website.

Optional cookies managed by Squarespace are restricted until you allow them. Use the cookie banner to accept, decline or manage them. You can reopen Cookie preferences on the website to change your choices and save your preferences.

Declining optional cookies does not stop every technical request or all visit logging. Hosting, font delivery and security services continue to operate. Squarespace can still record page views and activity-log information, including IP addresses. Google reCAPTCHA uses a security cookie when it runs.

You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. This may affect website functions or remove remembered choices. Cookie preferences apply to the browser and device where you set them.

For the browser’s Do Not Track setting, Squarespace documents that page views still register, with each viewed page counted as a new visitor. The setting does not stop all technical processing. See Squarespace’s traffic information. Cookie preferences on this website do not control data collected when you visit other websites or use a provider’s separate services.

How long information is held

Enquiry information is held in our email account and Squarespace Contacts and may remain there after we reply. Retention considerations include the purpose of the information, any continuing project relationship, and applicable recordkeeping or legal requirements. Provider records and cookies also have their own retention settings and durations. Contact us to ask about a particular record or request its deletion.

Your requests

To ask about your information, request access or correction, ask for deletion, or change your marketing preference, email concierge@casamateriastudio.com. We may need information reasonably necessary to identify the relevant records and verify your request. The rights available to you, and any exceptions, depend on the law that applies to your circumstances.

Updates to this notice

Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it.
